collecting skills? - Guild Wars Forums

Im kind of new to the pvp scene and i noticed how some people have almost every skill and that they can make any char they wanted. I want to know what is the best way to gather these skills from each proffesion? is it easier to make a pve char and buy skills of get faction and get them? Thanks for the help.

The people with all skills are either people who have played huge amounts of pvp and unlocked that way, or pve'ers that have capped either the majority or all skills and unlocked the rest with faction.

PvE char'ing it can take a while as you will need lots of xp, unless you make several of different classes. If you are a constant pvp'er in 8v8, then faction would be faster probably.

balthazar faction just do random arenas and build up on it. then go unlock the skills. either that or play pvp and unlock them whichever works.

Starting out - i can tell you Unlocking with faction is LOADS SLOWER.

Going through chapter1's campaign will get you several skills free. and you can fly through it with guild help.

Chapter2's campaign is even more designed for skill buying. You get skill points like they were candy, so its only about if you have the money to fund it.

Once you have a collection of the skills for popular builds, getting more faction gets easier.
